one big family.

Today was very productive! We started it off with getting some medical needs taken care of with the help of some of our friends down here. We were able to tend to a burn and small wound that one of our little ones has at the moment. Prayers for healing would be much appreciated. 

Next, we went to a small church in Cabaret where we were able to spend the day with ALL of the T12 kids! It was an amazing experience to have all of them under one roof, sharing and praising God together. During camp we had the opportunity (through a translator) to explain to all of the kids what T12 is all about, and how it came to be, and to answer any questions they had. Wadson (T12 director in Haiti) also explained to them our mission and vision. Then, we got to give them the lovely care packages from the donations we received. A couple of the children are experiencing some extremely itchy rashes (very normal in Haiti) due to lack of hygiene, so it was a very good opportunity to explain to them how often they should bathe and how exactly to take care of themselves with the soap, shampoo, lotion, and other items we were able to provide for them. We believe this will make a huge improvement and take away the rash. A big thank you to all those who donated those items recently! They are being put to very good use here! And they were very much needed.

After that we played some games, sang some songs, and interviewed each one of them for upcoming student of the week blogs! So be on the lookout for those starting next week :) The last thing we did was eat lunch as a family. It was delicious beans and rice with chicken and coleslaw. mmmmmm. Just like yesterday :) It is so delicious. It was amazing just to be in community with this family. This big family that God has so cleverly woven together. It truly is beautiful to see this non-profit really come together in a way that is so obviously the work of God. 

God is doing big things here and we are so excited to share them with you all in the future. We have a big day of planning tomorrow for future trips and teams.
